What should Congress be focusing on for oversight?

First of all, I do believe strongly that Congress has to perform a strong oversight function.

Waxman and Conley appear to be proceeding ahead, and we hope building strong cases.

To me, it appears they are "shotgunning" their approach, ie, pursuing too many disparate areas.

They need to focus on a critical few items, and be dogged in their approach. This may mean not pursuing some other leads.

Clearly, Gonzalez has to go, and they have to drive to eliminate the politicization of the Justice Department.

The non-official email thing has got to pick up speed.

The voter caging item as well, seems to be something that has to be pursued.

I know there is too much to look at, and go after, but trying to pursue everything, will mean nothing gets resolved, and the Bush presidency will end without any truly meaningful reforms from happening.
